Howdy All,

With theriathon behind us and our two conventions in the distance, we've been working on the book with a more steady rhythm. Our goal is to release the pdf version before the end of the year. So far, I don't see a reason why that should be a problem. Obviously, we'll keep you updated is anything changes at all.

The end of 2022

Howdy all. 

While we are still working on principal writing for the book, progress has been slow lately. Adjusting to the east coast has taken longer than we'd like and Bri is now working a full-time job at a local hospital. 

However, work on the blood mage has been going well, and we should have another playtest with them by the end of the year or early January at the latest. We'll post that and meetings again in 2023 as we keep plugging away.

Project Update - August 31st 2022

It's been a while since we've posted an update and that isn't our usual style. 

What has been going on? 

This year, without exaggeration, has been a disaster. I do not use that word lightly. 

The launch of the new season was riddled with problems from both a technical and business standpoint. Our partnership with the folks behind Cortex fell through, and we had to pivot the entire show back to DND. On top of that, we had to move 3,000 miles to Hancock, NY. We are just now getting back on our feet. There's a bunch of stuff that has happened in between, but that isn't important. 

To put it bluntly, some poor choices and some worse luck have impacted us in a pretty severe way. In short, our lives sort of fell apart both professionally and privately. 

How does this change the campaign?

We posted a little while back about physical rewards being pushed back to 2023. As of now, we don't know exactly when. We're doing everything in our power to rebuild as quickly as possible and produce a book that is equal to, if not better than, our first. It is very likely that you'll see a reverse of releases from our first book, with PDFs going out well before physical books. 

What is the status?

We'll be picking up where we left off before the move within the next few weeks as we get the show up and running again and catch up with you all. We'll also be releasing regular video updates again at that time. We're currently working on classes and that is a bit of a long process. 

The bottom line is that we're sorry for the delay. The blame falls squarely on our shoulders and, again, we're working overtime to fix the problem. With a reduced cost of living, us picking up extra jobs, working longer hours, and just generally being more focused, we feel as though the project should be much smoother from here on out.
